Introduction:

In this blog, we will surf into the combined state of two kinds of research data. One is Qualitative, and another edge is Quantitative. The combined state here we are going to state is Triangulation. Triangulation in qualitative and quantitative is to reduce the complexity of manipulating the two different data. Using Triangulation, we can collectively manipulate both sets of qualitative and quantitative data, which means we can cleanse or filtrate the required columns and rows of the data as per the analyst’s requirement — the proposed work [1] inclined Triangulation’s necessity in qualitative and quantitative data in business organizations.

Triangulation:

Triangulation uses multiple data sources or approaches to data analysis to improve a research study’s legitimacy. Triangulation allows information to be checked when analyzing results from multiple sources. It verifies the accuracy of results obtained using various instruments. It raises the chances of controlling, or at the very least assessing, any of the risks or multiple factors that influence our outcomes. It is used to build a more comprehensive image and analyze various views on a research problem. Ibrahim Al Marzooqi, Fawzeia Abdulla proposed [2] the Triangulation work based on the Resource-Based View theory.

Qualitative research:

Qualitative research is written. It’s used to comprehend ideas, emotions, and experiences. This style of study allows you to learn more about subjects that aren’t Well-understood. Interviews of open-ended queries, conclusions outlined in terms, and literature reviews discussing ideas and hypotheses are common qualitative approaches. It is critical for assessing the occurrence of specific traits or characteristics. It helps statisticians and researchers to create criteria that can be used to observe larger data sets. The use of qualitative statistics helps observers to measure the universe around them. [3]

Quantitative research:

Quantitative research triangulation allows organizations to rapidly and effectively gather vast amounts of data, offering a broad picture of your target population that extends beyond your sample participants. A survey’s interpretation and results can also be processed quickly. Qualitative research helps you to analyze several subjects in-depth. It is less difficult to perform market research because there is no requirement to employ vast numbers of people or use comprehensive techniques. [4]

Figure 1. Themes from conceptual model When shifting to the theme size of 71%, four primary themes emerged, which included dialogue, organization, employee engagement and building connections (see Figure 2). This additional analysis of the themes added nuance missing from the a priori model by clearly depicting the value of and connection between each emergent theme.

Future scope:

1. The integration, complementarity, and dissonance of findings on similar research questions derived from various statistical methods, sources, theoretical perspectives, or researchers can be investigated using Triangulation to develop any part of an organization. [5]

2. Integrating both will enhance the research based on the Triangulation of data in an organization. This in the future might help the subject that is being researched in an organization strengthen by incorporating multiple forms of knowledge.[6]
